Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches make for an easy week-night meal. In this version, Frontier vegetarian Bac'Uns add the smoky flavor of bacon sans bacon. Add avocado, green peppers, sprouts or beans for added texture, crunch and heartiness.
- 3 teaspoons Frontier Organic Bac'Uns Vegetarian Bits
- 2 slices whole-wheat bread
- low-fat mayonnaise to taste
- 1 to 2 slices tomatoes
- 1 to 2 lettuce leaves
Spread mayonnaise on bread. Sprinkle on Bac’Uns. Add tomato and lettuce and other hearty additions like avocado, sprouts green peppers or beans for added texture and crunch. Top with other bread slice.
