John is currently a member of The Browning Group, which provides consulting services to mid-sized companies. Prior to the appointment of the current executive team, he served as a member of the Office of the President of Frontier responsible for restructuring the company to restore its financial standing. He is on the board of directors of a number of companies. John was previously the corporate controller and officer of the Clorox Company for nine years and senior vice president of finance for Durango Computer products. For seven years Mr. Murray was with the Ampex Corporation as controller of the Audio Video Group. He is a chartered accountant and was in practice with Peat Marwick Mitchell. John is also a past president of The Financial Executives Institute in San Francisco and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has an M.B.A from the University of San Francisco.
