Bentonite, also referred to as Montmorillonite, is a very effective healing clay. Bentonite can be used externally as a clay poultice, mud pack or in the bath, and in skin care recipes.
White clay, calendula flowers, oats, lavender flowers, comfrey leaf, myrrh, oregano and anise are formulated to gently revitalize the complexion and improve the appearance of skin. Combine with various liquids to make a facial mask that meet needs of your skin type.
French green clay powder is used at the finest spas. Contains micro molecules which absorb better than other clays. Great for facial masks and herbal body packs. Absorbs dirt, oil, and bacteria, while gently cleansing the pores.
French red clay powder is similar in properties to French green with the color difference being attributed to a higher presence of iron oxide. This clay powder is recommended for combination, normal or oily skin.
French white, or kaolin, clay is the gentlest and least absorbent of our clays. Without drawing out oils, white clay will gently exfoliate and cleanse dry, sensitive skin, while helping to stimulate circulation and improve tone.
Kaolin or China clay absorbs oil, is cleansing and thickening. White Kaolin has an astringent effect and removes impurities from normal to oily skin.
