Herbs of Italy




The Italian seasoning basics are here in just the right proportions. Add it at the beginning of cooking whenever possible, to allow the flavors to meld. If you love to cook Italian, the blend will quickly become a staple in your kitchen. Use it in traditional Italian fare, but also in unexpected places--like your poached eggs or sub sandwich.
Suggested Uses:
- Sprinkle on cooked pasta for a quick, hot dinner.
- Add to tomato sauces, soups, or stews.
- Sprinkle on green salads or side salads (like pasta, chicken, tofu, potato).
- Rub or sprinkle on meats, poultry, fish, or tofu before grilling, broiling, or baking.
- Add to egg and cheese dishes.
- Use to make marinades for meat, seafood, poultry, tofu, and fish.
- Add to oil and vinegar or a cream base (like sour cream/mayo/plain yogurt) for a quick dressing.
- Sprinkle on cooked vegetables.
- Use in any tomato dish or casserole.
- Add to crepes.
- Slice green tomatoes about 1/4 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, then sprinkle with Herbs of Italy. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Broil until lightly browned.
