Ingredients: ORGANIC FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED™ CANE SUGAR, ORGANIC BROWN RICE FLOUR, ORGANIC TAPIOCA STARCH, XANTHAN GUM, CREAM OF TARTAR, SEA SALT, BAKING SODA, ORGANIC VANILLA BEAN POWDER.
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease bottom of 8” cake pan.
2. Combine eggs (slightly beaten), water, butter and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Add contents of package.
3. Stir until just evenly moist.
4. Pour into prepared cake pan.
5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until center tests done with a toothpick or knife. Cake should begin to pull away from sides of pan.
6. Cool completely before frosting.
Suggested Uses: Top cooled cake with frosting, fresh fruit, or pie filling.
Strawberry Trifle After cake has cooled, cut in 1” squares. Layer cake squares with vanilla pudding or whipped topping and strawberries in individual parfait glasses or large glass bowl.
