Mama Garlic



Mama Garlic is an easy way for garlic lovers to add garlic--plus a few tasty accompaniments-- to breads, salads, soups and entrees. It's handy both at the stovetop and the dinner table. This very tasty, very fresh blend of culinary basics (plus lemon!) is as versatile as seasonings get.
Suggested Uses:
- Use as a rub or sprinkle on meats, poultry, fish, seafood, tofu, or tempeh before grilling or broiling.
- Sprinkle on steamed vegetables.
- Use to make flavored breadsticks, homemade crackers, focaccia, and toasted breads.
- Add to soups and stews.
- Sprinkle on pizza, quesadillas, and homemade pretzels.
- Use to make marinades for meats, poultry, fish, tofu, seafood, vegetables, or tempeh.
- Add to a cream base (sour cream/mayo/softened cream cheese/plain yogurt) for dressings and dips.
- Add to softened butter to make flavored butter; use on breads and steamed vegetables.
- Lightly butter leftover bread. Sprinkle with Mama Garlic and cut into cubes. Place on baking sheet and bake until toasted. Use for croutons or grind for breadcrumbs.
