Homemade Sausage

1 pound ground beef
1 package Simply Organic Spicy Taco Mix
1 teaspoon Frontier Sea Salt
1 teaspoon Fronter Cane Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, Taco Mix, salt and sugar. Knead ingredients well, ensuring seasoning is equally dispersed. Divide meat in two sections and roll into logs. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Unwrap sausage and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until center reaches 165 degrees. Store in refrigerator no longer than 5 days. Slice when ready to serve.

After slicing, use as a topping for homemade taco pizza.
Serve with crackers and cheese as an alternative to summer sausage.
