Tiny Turkey Meatballs

These are excellent for an after-school snack or for adults in a hurry.

Ingredients
For the meatballs
1  egg
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup raisins
1 tablespoon ground walnuts
For the coating
1  egg
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon chili sauce
1 1/2 cups multigrain cereal, ground in food processor
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare a large baking pan with nonstick spray.

Whisk together the first eight ingredients. Work in the ground turkey and bread crumbs. Mix in raisins and nuts. Form 32 small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Whisk egg, Tabasco, and chili sauce together. Roll meatballs in egg mixture, then in crushed cereal.

Place meatballs in prepared baking pan. Bake 35 minutes, or until well browned. Cool.
