Vegetarian BBQ Sandwich
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups Frontier Soy Textured Protein
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Simply Organic BBQ Ground Up Seasoning
(coarse or fine grind)
4 to 5 buns
In a heat-resistant container, combine water and soy protein. Mix well, cover and let sit 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in ketchup, vinegar and Simply Organic BBQ Ground Up. Reheat to desired temperature and serve.
Serve on whole wheat buns with tomato slices and fresh lettuce.
