VEGETARIAN CHILI DOGS (KID FRIENDLY)
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups textured soy protein
3 diced Roma tomatoes (about 1 cup)
1 package Simply Organic Sloppy Joe Mix
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 package Vegetarian hot dogs (8 to 9 count)
1 package whole wheat buns
In a medium mixing bowl, heat water in microwave until it begins to boil. Add textured soy protein and set aside. Finely dice Roma tomatoes. Add Sloppy Joe Mix and tomato paste to the soy protein. Stir in tomatoes and heat if needed. Heat hot dogs, place in bun and spoon on seasoned mix.
