SOY/ FLAX CHAI SPICE SCONES (VEGAN)

1 package Chai Spice Scone Mix
4 tablespoons soy butter
1/4 cup finely ground flax seeds
6 tablespoons water
1 to 3 tablespoons soy milk or water

Preheat oven to 350° F. Add contents of package into mixing bowl. Cut in soy butter. In a separate bowl, combine flax seeds and first 6 tablespoons water together. Add this mix to larger bowl, and stir until moistened to a cookie-dough texture adding soy milk or water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired texture reached. Spoon dough in 2-inch mounds onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until bottoms of scones are lightly browned.

Makes 8 scones.
