Béarnaise Bread
1/2 tablespoon
baking yeast 1/8 cup warm water
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon
cane sugar 1 1/4 cups water
3 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour 1 package
Simply Organic Béarnaise Sauce Mix In a large mixing bowl, mix yeast and 1/8 cups warm water together. Stir and let sit a few minutes to activate.
Add olive oil, sugar and remaining water. Add 2 cups flour and Simply Organic Béarnaise Sauce Mix. Mix dough until blended. Slowly add in rest of flour and knead dough for 5 minutes. Cover and let dough rise in bowl for 10 minutes.
Grease cookie sheet, knead dough one final time, and shape into a loaf. Place on sheet and cover. Let dough rise until it doubles in size (approximately 10 minutes). Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
