Italian Herb Biscuits
3/4 cup rice flour
1/2 cup Simply Organic Pizza Crust Mix
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Put rice flour, pizza crust mix, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar in a bowl. Stir to evenly combine.
Cut in butter.
Add buttermilk and stir until evenly combined.
Drop batter by heaping spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until surface begins to turn golden brown.
For a more golden brown top brush with egg wash (1 egg mixed with 1 tablespoon water) before baking.
Roll batter into sticks before baking.
Add ï¿½ cup finely shredded cheese to dough mixture.
Serve with garlic butter.
