Orange Ras El Hanout Muffins
1 2/3 cups flour
1 tablespoon
baking powder 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons
Frontier Ras el Hanout Seasoning 1 1/3 cups milk
1/3 cup oil
1 teaspoon
orange flavor 1 egg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease muffin pan (12 count).
Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Combine liquid ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients until just moistened.
Spoon into muffin pan. Bake 15 to 18 minutes, or until lightly golden.
For a more robust flavor, add an additional � to 1 teaspoon Ras el Hanout Seasoning.
Stir in � cup chopped mandarin oranges.
As prepared, each serving contains 150 calories, 8g total fat, 20mg cholesterol, 140mg sodium, 17g total carbohydrate and 3g protein.
