Orange Ginger BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon orange flavor
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon coriander seed
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves and all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Chef Suggestions

Brush over chicken or other meat while cooking as you would a BBQ sauce.

Use as a meatloaf topping.

Stir in a can of drained navy beans (or other bean of choice) and heat for a sweet and savory baked bean dish.

For a warm sauce or glaze, heat the sauce over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring frequently.
