Almond Hummus
Yes, chickpeas already have a nutty taste, but the addition of almonds gives this dip a deliciously different spin. Chips and breads are good dippers for hummus. And of course it makes a tasty sandwich spread.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup ground almonds
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic granules
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon parsley leaf flakes
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 dash tamari
{salt} to taste
{coarse-grind black pepper} to taste
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup ground almonds
2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Serve at room temperature or cool.
