Rock Cornish Game Hens

4  Rock Cornish game hens, thawed
1 stick butter, melted
2 teaspoons kosher {salt}
3/4 teaspoon freshly-cracked {black pepper}
1 teaspoon paprika
1 jar red currant jelly
Place game hens in slow cooker crockery-style pot. Drizzle melted butter over hens. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Cover with lid and cook on high setting for 4 hours.

Spoon currant jelly over each hen, letting the jelly melt and glaze each bird. Return lid to slow cooker and continue cooking on the high setting for 2 to 3 hours more, or until hens are extremely tender and glazed. Serve up with all the 'fixins' for a festive feast.
