Chai-Indian Style Tea

Wonderful chilled or hot. This is a mild chai tea.

Ingredients
5 cups water
2 tablespoons rounded, of {black tea}
3 cups non-fat milk or 3 cups soy milk
1/3 cup honey
4  sticks cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5  whole cloves or 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1  bay leaf
6  {whole cardamom pods}, green or black or 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Directions
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Strain.
