Spicy Stuffed Peppers

3/4 cup barley
6 cups water
1/4 cup onion flakes
1/4 cup chopped red and green bell peppers
1/2 cup water
1 can (16 ounces) stewed tomatoes
2 teaspoons Frontier Bar-B-Quick
4  large, fresh bell peppers
Wash and drain barley. Simmer barley and water for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not drain.

While barley is simmering, combine onion flakes, peppers and 1/2 cup water. Set aside. When barley is done add onion and pepper mixture, tomatoes and Bar-B-Quick.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut tops off peppers and clean cavity. Stuff peppers with barley mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes.
