Herbed Green Beans

4 cups fresh green beans
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup chopped chives or  scallion tops
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
Steam the beans for 5 minutes, then rinse under cold water and drain thoroughly.

Warm the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the parsley, chives or scallion tops, basil, thyme, and salt; mix well. Cook for about 1 minute, or until mix starts to sizzle. Stir in the beans and heat through.
