Surprise Wild Rice

This recipe can also be cooked in a frying pan on the stovetop.

1/2 cup onions, diced
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 to 3 tablespoons butter or 1 to 3 tablespoons oil
3 cups cooked wild rice
1 cup chicken broth powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
Sauté onion, celery, and mushrooms in butter or oil. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, then place in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cook Time: 40 min
