Chamomile & Lavender Bath Bomb

Makes: Approx. 6 bath bombs  |  Hands-on time: 30 minutes  |  Total time: 30 minutes + 2 days for drying

Infuse your next bath with botanicals and purpose.

You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Organic Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Citric Acid
  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Baking Soda
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Whole German Chamomile Flowers
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Whole Elder Flowers
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Calendula Petals
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Whole Lavender Flowers
  • 15 drops Aura Cacia Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
  • 15 drops Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil
  • 1 fl. oz. water in Aura Cacia 4-ounce Mister Bottle
  • 2- to 2.5-inch rectangular or square mold (or round bath bomb mold)

To Make:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add chamomile and lavender essential oils and mix.
  3. Add water from the mister, 2 or 3 spritzes at a time. Go slowly – adding too much water at once will cause the mixture to foam.
  4. Continue spritzing water until mixture is the consistency of wet sand and will hold together when formed into small balls.
  5. Spoon mixture into 2- to 2.5-inch rectangular or square mold or round bath bomb mold. You can also use your hands to form 2 tablespoons of mixture into individual balls.
  6. Place on parchment paper, a drying rack or other clean, dry surface and allow to dry for 48 hours. Once dry, remove from mold. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
  7. To use, simply drop bomb into warm bath. Enjoy!

 

 

 

Rose Bath Bomb

Makes: Approx. 6 bath bombs  | Hands-on time: 30 minutes  |  Total time: 30 minutes + 2 days for drying

Enjoy the foaming chemistry of this relaxing foaming bath bomb.

You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Organic Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Citric Acid
  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Baking Soda
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Calendula Petals
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Whole German Chamomile Flowers
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Red Rose Petals
  • 1 fl. oz. water in Aura Cacia 4-ounce Mister Bottle
  • 30 drops Aura Cacia Rose Absolute Essential Oil
  • Large mixing bowl
  • 2- to 2.5-inch rectangular or square mold (or round bath bomb mold)

To Make:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add rose absolute essential oil and mix.
  3. Add water from the mister, 2 or 3 spritzes at a time. Go slowly – adding too much water at once will cause the mixture to foam.
  4. Continue spritzing water until mixture is the consistency of wet sand and will hold together when formed into small balls.

Makes: Approx. 6 shower tablets  |  Hands-on time: 30 minutes  |  Total time: 30 minutes + 2 days for drying

You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Organic Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Citric Acid
  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Baking Soda
  • 60 drops Aura Cacia Eucalyptus Essential Oil
  • Large mixing bowl
  • 1 fl. oz. water in Aura Cacia 4-ounce Mister Bottle
  • 2- to 2.5-inch rectangular or square mold

To Make:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add eucalyptus essential oil.
  3. Add water from the mister, 2 or 3 spritzes at a time. Go slowly – adding too much water at once will cause the mixture to foam.
  4. Continue spritzing water until mixture is the consistency of wet sand and will hold together when formed into small balls.
  5. Spoon mixture into 2- to 2.5-inch rectangular or square mold.
  6. Store mold uncovered in a cool, dry place until mixture dries and hardens (about 2 days). Remove from mold.
  7. To use, place tablet on shower floor. Inhale the clarity of a new day!
  8. Store tablets in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.

 

 

 

 

 

Rose Bath Tea

Makes: 4 individual bath teas  | Hands-on time: 15 minutes  |  Total time: 15 minutes

Pamper yourself with this simple, rose-scented recipe for bath tea, which also makes a great gift for a birthday or wedding!

You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Organic Red Rose Petals
  • 4 Tea Bags

To Make:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Fill up tea bags with mixture.
  3. To use, float bag in bath water. If possible, tie bag under faucet to infuse bath water while filling the tub.
  • Caution: If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

 

 

 

 

 

Relaxing Chamomile Oat Bath Tea

Makes: 4 individual bath teas  |  Hands-on time: 15 minutes  |  Total time: 15 minutes

Enjoy the relaxing aromas of lavender and chamomile with this bath tea. No need to make boiling water first – just dissolve right into your bath.

You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Whole Lavender Flowers
  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op Chamomile Flowers
  • 1/8 cup Frontier Co-op Calendula Petals
  • 1/8 cup rolled oats
  • 4 Tea Bags

To Make:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Fill up tea bags with mixture.
  3. To use, float bag in bath water. If possible, tie bag under faucet to infuse bath water upon filling the tub.
  • Caution: If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

 

 

 

 

 

Sea Salt & Elderflower Bath Soak

Makes: 6 baths  |  Hands-on time: 15 minutes  |  Total time: 15 minutes

Relaxing and easy to make, enjoy this soak for many baths to come.

You'll Need:

  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1 cup Frontier Co-op Dead Sea Salt
  • 1/4 cup Frontier Co-op Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Frontier Co-op Whole Elder Flowers

To Make:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Place in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in a cool, dry place.
  3. To use, fill tub halfway and add 6 tablespoons bath soak. Stir into water and continue filling tub.
  • Caution: If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

 

 

 

 

 

Lavender Himalayan Bath Soak

Makes: 6 baths  |  Hands-on time: 15 minutes  |  Total time: 15 minutes

Enjoy relaxing in the tub as these salts dissolve.

You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 cups Frontier Co-op Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 3/4 cup Frontier Co-op Dead Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Frontier Co-op Whole Lavender Flowers

To Make:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Place in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in a cool, dry place.
