An easy, dessert-like dip using chickpeas as the base but made sweet with the help of cocoa powder and maple syrup. The end result is a luscious dip that doesn’t taste like chickpeas!

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients for the hummus in a food processor. Puree, adding 1/4 cup of water at a time, until the hummus is smooth. Taste and add more sweetener as desired.
  2. Transfer the hummus to a bowl and serve with pretzels, strawberries, and apples.
