Bring water to a boil.

Stir in rice and Ras El Hanout Seasoning. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until rice is tender, 18 to 20 minutes.

Serve hot.

Substitute couscous for rice.

Add golden raisins, walnuts, and/or apricots.
