Egg Drop Soup with Nori

This light, nourishing soup is a staple in Chinese culture. Featuring broth, scallions, eggs and nori, (edible seaweed), it's often served an appetizer to an Asian entrée.


  • 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op No-Chicken Broth Powder

  • 2 teaspoons sea salt

  • 2 teaspoons peanut oil

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 teaspoons minced scallions

  • 4 sheets nori, torn into small squares


    In saucepan combine the stock, oil, and salt. Bring to boil. Beat the eggs well and slowly pour into the soup, gently stirring. Remove from heat and garnish with scallions and nori.
