Ingredients

4 tablespoons Frontier Co-op No-Chicken Broth Powder

3 cups hot water

1 onion, minced

1 tablespoon butter

1 cup cooked rice

1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op Ground Gumbo Filé

Bell peppers, jalapenos or tomatoes to taste
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a small pot, add broth powder to hot water. Simmer 1-2 minutes.
3. In a skillet, sauté onion in butter. Add broth, rice, and Gumbo Filé. Bring to a simmer. Remove and place in large, covered casserole dish.
4. Add in bell peppers, jalapenos or tomatoes if desired.
5. Bake for 1 hour or until all liquid has been absorbed.
