Seasoned Green Beans

The eclectic mix of spices and herbs in this seasoning add robust and well-rounded flavor to crisp, steamed green beans. Serve as a side dish with meat, pasta or sandwiches.


  • Oil for sautéing (approx. 1 tablespoon) 

  • 3/4 cup chopped onion

  • 2 teaspoons Frontier Co-op Sesame Seeds

  • 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op Celery Seed

  • 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op Rosemary

  • 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op Sweet Basil 

  • 1 pound steamed green beans


    1. Heat oil in a large frying pan.

    2. Add onion, sesame seeds, and celery seeds, and sauté for 5 minutes.

    3. Add rosemary and basil and simmer for another 5 minutes.

    4. Add green beans and heat through.
