Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches make for an easy week-night meal. In this version, Frontier vegetarian Bac'Uns add the smoky flavor of bacon sans bacon. Add avocado, green peppers, sprouts or beans for added texture, crunch and heartiness.


  • 3 teaspoons

    BAC'UNS organic
  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread

  • low-fat mayonnaise to taste

  • 1 to 2 slices tomatoes

  • 1 to 2 lettuce leaves


    Spread mayonnaise on bread. Sprinkle on Bac'Uns. Add tomato and lettuce and other hearty additions like avocado, sprouts green peppers or beans for added texture and crunch. Top with other bread slice.

    Toast the bread. Try yellow or orange tomato varieties for a twist. Top with a slice of Mozzarella cheese. For an unique take, turn sandwich into pinwheels by using tortillas and slicing 1-inch thick.
