Crispy Whitefish Fillets with Chesapeake Bay Seasoning

Fried fish is a classic along the shorelines, but why not enjoy the same crispy breading, but healthier and just as flavorful with an air fryer? This air fryer fish fillets recipe is great with any whitefish you like, and seasoning is easy with our Chesapeake Bay Seasoning.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons Frontier Co-op® Organic Chesapeake Bay Seasoning
- 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- 2 whitefish fillets, about 4 ounces each (we suggest tilapia)
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine flour and the ½ cup Chesapeake Bay Seasoning.
- In another medium bowl, place breadcrumbs.
- In a final medium bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Place fish on a plate and season with the 2 tablespoons Chesapeake Bay Seasoning, covering both sides.
- Dredge fish in seasoned flour until coated.
- Place each coated fillet into whisked eggs; remove and place in breadcrumbs bowl. Press breadcrumbs into fillets to thoroughly coat.
- Place fillets in basket of a 390-degree air fryer and cook for 8 minutes, flip fillets and cook for another 8 minutes.
- For a gluten-free version, use millet or rice flour and gluten-free panko breadcrumbs.
- If you want a little more flavoring, you can add Chesapeake Bay Seasoning to the breadcrumbs as well.
