Ingredients
- 3 large or 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Ground Cumin Seed
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Regenerative Organic Certified® Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Directions
- Using a fork, poke holes in each sweet potato. Wrap each potato in a damp paper towel and microwave them together for 3 to 4 minutes, until tender enough to easily insert a knife into the center, but not too soft. Let cool slightly.
- Cut each sweet potato in half lengthwise, then cut into wedges and place into a large bowl.
- Preheat grill to around 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, mix together cumin, paprika, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- In bowl with sweet potatoes, add avocado oil and spice mixture; toss until well coated, then transfer to a grill basket.
- Grill over medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until sweet potatoes are tender and charred around the edges.
