Create your own dry rub for ribs on the grill, chicken kebabs, pork chops, veggies, or plant-based proteins with all the flavors you love from responsibly sourced spices. Choose from three different heat levels (Scoville Heat Units) of Frontier Co-op® Cayenne Pepper to make this as spicy – or not – as you like!

Makes about 3/4 cup of seasoning.

Directions

  1. Into a bowl or a jar (pint size or larger), add salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and cayenne, and whisk or stir until thoroughly combined.
  2. To use the rub, coat a protein or vegetables with high-heat oil, then sprinkle desired amount of rub on top and rub in with your hands or toss to coat.
  3. Grill over medium heat until cooked through.
