Ingredients
- 14 ounces firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Premium Nutritional Yeast
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Regenerative Organic Certified® Ground Turmeric
- 3/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Chili Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Sea or Pink Himalayan Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Ground Cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 corn tortillas
- Optional toppings: sliced avocado, radish slices, green onions, fresh cilantro
Directions
- Wrap tofu block in paper towels and place a heavy object on top (a cast iron skillet works well) for 30 minutes to press out moisture.
- In a large bowl, crumble tofu into tiny bits with your fingers. Add nutritional yeast, turmeric, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, cumin and cayenne, and stir until well coated.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add and tofu mixture and stir frequently until warmed.
- Spoon scrambled tofu into tortillas, and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
