Lemon verbena is a very fragrant flowering shrub native to South America, where it's used to make tea. While not as well known as other lemony herbs, it is well worth getting to know as it is one of the most flavorful of this class of herbs.
Directions
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 5-10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.If pregnant, nursing, suffering from any medical condition, or taking medication, consult a healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
