This wonderfully refreshing tea pairs the minty notes of spearmint and peppermint with the subtle floral-citrusy notes of rosehips, the seed-bearing fruit of the rose plant. Orange slices, lemon slices and your favorite edible flowers would make lovely garnishes for this special iced tea. Cinnamon stick swizzles also serve as a great addition.

  • 2 tablespoons Frontier Co-op Organic Peppermint Leaf

  • 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op Organic Spearmint Leaf

  • 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op Organic Rosehips

  • 1 quart boiling water

  • 1 teaspoon honey, or to taste

  • 4 Frontier Co-op Organic, Fair Trade Cinnamon Sticks, optional

  • Orange and lemon slices, mint sprigs and edible flowers for garnish, optional

    1. In a heatproof bowl, place peppermint, spearmint and rosehips. Pour boiling water over; steep 5 minutes or until desired strength. (Or, make a sun tea.) Strain and sweeten, if desired. Cool to room temperature.
    2. Serve over ice with a cinnamon stick in each glass, and garnish as desired.
    3. Refrigerate leftover tea.
