A great vegan take on your traditional pork bbq. The green jackfruit provides a meat-like texture and the easy barbeque sauce gives a lively (but not hot) flavor boost with our organic Original BBQ Seasoning.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-opĀ® Organic Original BBQ Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 can (14 ounces) young jackfruit, drained
- 4 hamburger buns
Directions
- In a medium sautƩ pan over medium heat, combine ketchup, BBQ seasoning and Dijon mustard.
- Heat sauce and add jackfruit. Using 2 forks, break jackfruit apart until it shreds.
- Continue heating until sauce simmers and jackfruit is warmed through.
- Place one-fourth of the BBQ jackfruit on a bun and serve.
- The jackfruit can be shredded before adding to the sauce, if preferred.
- If you enjoy a more acidic, Carolina-style barbeque sauce, double the mustard or add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
