Depending on how sweet you make it, Chai tea can serve as a spicy, flavorful, warming dessert. Vary the spice amounts to taste, too.

Ingredients
- 2 cups hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Whole Cardamom Seed
- 1/8 teaspoon Frontier Co-Op® Organic Black Peppercorns
- 1/8 teaspoon Frontier Co-Op® Fennel Seed, Whole
- 1/8 teaspoon Frontier Co-Op® Anise Seed
- 1 rounded teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Black Tea
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-Op® Organic Ground Ginger
- 1 Frontier Co-op® Cinnamon Stick
- 1/2 cup hot milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as oat, almond or soy)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar (or other sweetener, to taste)
Directions
- Bring water and all of the spices and tea to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Strain, add hot milk and sweetener.
- Add ice and let sit until cold, then enjoy!
