The bounty of summer fruit calls for a cocktail with not only sweet notes, but also some fiery heat and spice. This watermelon, jalapeƱo and hibiscus infused margarita has it all.

Ingredients
- Ā½ cup freshly cut watermelon cubes (plus a few cubes for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon fresh jalapeƱo, chopped
- Ā¼ teaspoon Frontier Co-opĀ® Alder Smoked Salt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 9 mint leaves (about 1Ā½ tablespoons) + another for garnish
- 1Ā½ ounces tequila
- Ā½ to 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 3 ounces Frontier Co-opĀ® Organic Hibiscus Flowers
- Slice of lime, for garnish
- Frontier Co-opĀ® Himalayan Pink Salt for salting rim (optional)
Directions
- In a sturdy glass, combine watermelon, jalapeƱo, smoked salt, honey and mint leaves.
- With a muddler or handle of wooden spoon, mash the mixture to release flavors.
- In a shaker filled with ice, combine watermelon mixture, tequila, lime juice and hibiscus flowers, then shake well until frosty.
- Optional: On a small plate, spread pink salt in a ring, wet rim of glass and dip rim into sea salt to coat.
- Using a fine mesh sieve or strainer, pour slowly into a tall iced tea glass.
- Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint, a cube of watermelon and a thin slice of lime.
