Dutch-processed, (alkalized) cocoa powder produces the classic flavor associated with a mug of hot cocoa -- balanced and rounded chocolatey flavor, creamy texture and a mere hint of bitterness.

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 heaping tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Cocoa Powder
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Cane Sugar
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring milk to simmer.
- Add cocoa and sugar. Whisk vigorously until fully dissolved and frothy, and serve.
- Garnish with sweetened, vanilla-flavored whipped cream. For an adult version, add 1/2 jigger of brandy, Irish cream or coffee liqueur.
- To make the recipe dairy-free friendly, use oat milk in place of whole milk.
