Sweet Heat Dry Rub Chicken Wings with Avocado Ranch Dressing

Make this dry rub wings recipe for juicy, crispy wings with smoky maple flavor and a nice kick of heat. The homemade Avocado Ranch Dressing is a great, cooling complement, and itās all ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- Wings:
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup flour (for gluten free, use Frontier Co-opĀ® Potato Starch, cornmeal, or a mixture of both)
- 2 tablespoons Frontier Co-opĀ® Sweet Heat Dry Rub + more for serving
- Oil cooking spray
- Avocado Ranch Dressing:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-opĀ® Dill Weed
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-opĀ® Sea Salt
- Frontier Co-opĀ® Black Pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400Ė and place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
- Pat wings dry with a paper towel. In a sealable bag or other container, combine flour and dry rub, mixing thoroughly. Add wings, seal and shake container until wings are completely coated.
- Arrange wings on baking sheet and spray with oil cooking spray.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until wings are crispy and reach an internal temperature of 165Ė.
- Meanwhile, make the dressing: Add all ranch ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Remove wings from oven and serve with Avocado Ranch Dressing.
- For more Sweet Heat flavor, sprinkle each wing with additional Sweet Heat Dry Rub in Step 3 before coating with oil.
