Warming Ginger Tea

An after-dinner cup of ginger tea can be warming — and settling, too. For a fun punch, combine the sweetened tea with 1 cup of ginger ale and serve over ice cubes.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sliced or grated ginger root

  • 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op Organic, Fair Trade China Green Tea

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • Honey to taste

  • 1 Frontier Co-op Cinnamon Stick

  • 2 Frontier Co-op Whole Cloves

Directions

    1. In a teacup, place ginger root and green tea (loose or within a tea strainer),. Pour boiling water into cup, cover and steep 10 to 15 minutes. Strain. if not using a tea strainer.
    2. Sweeten with honey. Add cinnamon stick and one or two cloves.
